In these Terms, “A1 Doors & Windows, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to A1 Doors & Windows. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing the website, requesting a quote, placing an order, or otherwise interacting with us.
By accessing our website, submitting a request, creating an account, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit an order.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to place an order or request paid services through our website.
By using the website on behalf of a company, organization, property owner, contractor, or another person, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms and make purchasing decisions on that party’s behalf.
3. Website Use
You may use the website only for lawful personal or business purposes.
You may not:
- Use the website for fraudulent, unlawful, or misleading purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, customer accounts, servers, or connected systems.
- Introduce viruses, malicious code, automated scraping tools, or other harmful technology.
- Interfere with the website’s operation, security, performance, or availability.
- Copy, reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit website content without written permission.
- Submit false contact, payment, property, delivery, or measurement information.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority to act for another person.
- Use website content or product information to create a competing website, catalog, or database.
We may restrict or terminate access to the website when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
4. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, prices, photographs, renderings, videos, finishes, colors, hardware options, and availability information.
However:
- Images and digital renderings are provided for general illustration.
- Actual colors, finishes, textures, glass appearance, hardware, and materials may vary due to lighting, screen settings, production batches, manufacturing tolerances, and supplier changes.
- Product dimensions may be nominal rather than exact.
- Natural or manufacturing variations may occur in glass, aluminum, vinyl, hardware, screens, seals, finishes, and related materials.
- Minor variations that do not materially affect ordinary functionality may not constitute defects.
- Products displayed on the website may not always be available at the showroom.
- Accessories, furnishings, landscaping, structures, and decorative items shown in product images are not included unless expressly stated.
You are responsible for reviewing the complete product description, specifications, opening direction, configuration, color, finish, glass type, screen type, hardware, dimensions, and quantity before approving an order.
5. Product Availability
All products and services are subject to availability.
We may:
- Limit product quantities.
- Discontinue products or options.
- Substitute components only with customer approval when the substitution materially changes the order.
- Refuse or cancel an order when a product is unavailable, incorrectly priced, restricted, or affected by an obvious website error.
- Update product specifications without prior notice when no confirmed order is affected.
Adding an item to a cart, requesting a quote, or submitting payment information does not guarantee availability or acceptance of the order.
6. Quotes and Estimates
Quotes, proposals, and estimates are based on the information available when they are prepared. Unless otherwise stated in writing:
- A quote is not an acceptance of an order.
- A quote may be subject to expiration.
- Pricing may change if measurements, quantities, configurations, materials, labor requirements, delivery conditions, access conditions, taxes, or other project details change.
- Verbal estimates are preliminary and are not binding.
- Website calculators, estimated dimensions, and estimated prices are informational only.
- A quote does not include installation, permits, engineering, demolition, disposal, waterproofing, structural work, electrical work, finishing, painting, stucco repair, or other services unless specifically listed.
A final written quote, sales order, invoice, or project agreement may contain additional terms. Where a signed project agreement conflicts with these website Terms, the signed project agreement will control for that transaction.
7. Measurements and Customer Approval
Accurate measurements are essential for doors, windows, patios, enclosures, and custom products.
Unless A1 Doors & Windows expressly agrees in writing to perform professional field measurements:
- You are responsible for all measurements submitted to us.
- You are responsible for verifying rough openings, finished openings, wall thicknesses, floor conditions, clearances, tracks, thresholds, panel directions, and applicable building requirements.
- A1 Doors & Windows is not responsible for products that do not fit because of inaccurate, incomplete, estimated, or customer-supplied measurements.
- Product dimensions should not be determined solely from photographs, plans, drawings, or verbal descriptions unless we approve that method in writing.
Before production or fulfillment, you may be asked to approve specifications, drawings, shop drawings, order confirmations, or measurement sheets. Your approval authorizes us to proceed based on the approved information.
Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges, production delays, or the inability to modify the order.
8. Orders and Acceptance
Your submission of an order is an offer to purchase products or services. We may accept, reject, or request changes to the order.
An order is considered accepted only after we issue an order confirmation, invoice, written acceptance, or other confirmation and receive any required payment or deposit.
We may cancel or correct an order before fulfillment if:
- Product information or pricing was materially incorrect.
- The item is unavailable.
- Payment could not be verified.
- Fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected.
- Delivery or installation cannot reasonably be completed.
- The order violates applicable law or supplier restrictions.
- A material mistake occurred in the quote or order configuration.
If we cancel an order after collecting payment, we will refund the amount paid for the canceled portion, subject to any separately authorized and already completed services.
9. Custom and Special-Order Products
Doors, windows, glass products, screens, panels, frames, hardware configurations, custom colors, special finishes, and products manufactured or ordered according to customer-selected dimensions or specifications may be considered custom or special-order products.
Custom and special-order products may not be changed, canceled, returned, or refunded after production, fabrication, supplier ordering, or material allocation has started, except where required by law or expressly authorized in writing.
Any approved cancellation may be subject to:
- Design or measurement charges.
- Supplier cancellation charges.
- Restocking fees.
- Material and fabrication costs.
- Shipping or handling expenses.
- Administrative costs.
- Charges for work already completed.
The applicable cancellation terms should be reviewed before you approve and pay for a custom order.
10. Pricing and Taxes
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
We attempt to ensure that advertised prices are accurate and include required charges as required by applicable law. Applicable sales tax, government-imposed charges, and separately permitted shipping or delivery costs may be added at checkout or on the final invoice.
Prices may vary based on:
- Product size and configuration.
- Number of panels or tracks.
- Frame color or finish.
- Glass type and thickness.
- Hardware and locking systems.
- Screens and accessories.
- Delivery location.
- Installation conditions.
- Permit, engineering, or project requirements.
- Supplier and material costs.
We reserve the right to correct obvious typographical, technical, or pricing errors. If an error affects an order you submitted, we will provide the corrected information and allow you to approve the revised order or receive a refund for the affected unfulfilled item.
11. Payment
Available payment methods may be displayed on the website or invoice.
You agree to provide accurate and current billing and payment information. You represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Depending on the transaction, we may require:
- Full payment at checkout.
- A deposit before ordering or production.
- Progress payments.
- A balance before delivery.
- A final payment before or upon installation completion.
Payment schedules stated in a quote, invoice, or signed agreement form part of your order.
We may suspend production, ordering, delivery, or installation if a required payment is late, declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise not received.
You are responsible for reasonable costs resulting from unauthorized payment reversals, returned payments, or chargebacks submitted contrary to the agreed order terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Financing
Any financing option is subject to separate approval, terms, interest rates, fees, disclosures, and agreements provided by the financing company.
A1 Doors & Windows does not guarantee financing approval or financing terms. Unless expressly stated otherwise, financing providers are independent third parties, and their decisions are outside our control.
You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the financing provider’s terms before entering into a financing agreement.
13. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly guarantee a date in writing.
Estimated timelines may be affected by:
- Manufacturing schedules.
- Supplier availability.
- Customs or transportation delays.
- Weather.
- Labor shortages.
- Material shortages.
- Carrier interruptions.
- Site-access limitations.
- Events outside our reasonable control.
We are not responsible for reasonable delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, telephone number, access instructions, and any information concerning gates, stairs, elevators, parking, loading restrictions, or limited access.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Delivery does not include installation, unpacking, debris removal, lifting by crane, or movement to a specific interior location.
- You must ensure that an authorized adult is available to accept delivery.
- Additional delivery attempts, storage, redelivery, special handling, or restricted-access services may involve additional charges.
- Risk of loss may transfer as stated in the applicable invoice, delivery agreement, shipping terms, or applicable law.
14. Inspection Upon Delivery
You or your authorized representative should inspect products promptly upon delivery or pickup.
Before signing a delivery receipt, note any visible shortage, broken glass, damaged packaging, frame damage, missing components, or other visible issue.
You must notify us of visible delivery damage or shortages as soon as reasonably possible and within any deadline stated in your order documents or delivery instructions. Include:
- Your name and order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Photographs of the product.
- Photographs of the packaging and shipping label.
- A copy of the delivery receipt, where available.
Do not install, alter, discard, or dispose of a product that you believe is damaged or incorrect until we provide instructions. Installation, modification, or disposal may limit our ability to verify the claim or provide a remedy, except where prohibited by law.
Concealed damage should be reported promptly after discovery.
15. Storage and Unclaimed Products
You must accept delivery or collect products within the agreed timeframe.
If products cannot be delivered or collected because of customer delay, incomplete construction, lack of access, nonpayment, or another customer-controlled reason, we may charge reasonable storage, handling, redelivery, or rescheduling fees.
Products left unclaimed for an extended period may be handled in accordance with the applicable order agreement and California law. Customer delay does not automatically extend a manufacturer’s warranty period.
16. Installation Services
Installation is included only when expressly stated in a written quote, invoice, or installation agreement.
Installation may require a separate contract that describes:
- Scope of work.
- Site conditions.
- Labor and material responsibilities.
- Payment schedule.
- Estimated timeline.
- Permit responsibilities.
- Warranty coverage.
- Exclusions and change-order procedures.
Unless expressly included, installation pricing may exclude:
- Structural modifications.
- Framing repairs.
- Waterproofing or remediation of existing water damage.
- Mold, asbestos, lead, or hazardous-material work.
- Electrical or plumbing work.
- Alarm or security-system work.
- Stucco, drywall, plaster, tile, flooring, siding, paint, or finish repair.
- Engineering or architectural services.
- Permit and inspection fees.
- Crane, scaffolding, or special-equipment services.
- Correction of pre-existing code violations.
- Removal of concealed obstructions.
- Work caused by inaccurate customer-provided information.
Installation requirements vary by product and property. Products should be installed by qualified professionals and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, approved plans, applicable codes, and permit requirements.
17. Site Conditions and Access
When A1 Doors & Windows provides measurements, delivery, or installation services, you must:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
- Keep children, pets, tenants, customers, and unauthorized persons away from the work area.
- Remove furniture, valuables, window coverings, decorations, and obstructions.
- Disclose known structural, water, electrical, plumbing, asbestos, lead, mold, pest, or hazardous conditions.
- Identify concealed utilities and security systems.
- Obtain any necessary permission from owners, landlords, homeowners’ associations, or property managers.
- Provide access to electricity, parking, loading areas, and other reasonably necessary facilities.
Unexpected or concealed conditions may require additional work, charges, approvals, or schedule changes. We will seek approval before performing material out-of-scope work unless immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect persons or property.
18. Permits, Codes, and Approvals
Permit, engineering, architectural, homeowners’ association, historic-property, zoning, and code requirements vary by project and location.
Unless expressly included in writing, you are responsible for determining and obtaining required:
- Building permits.
- Planning approvals.
- Homeowners’ association approvals.
- Landlord or property-owner approvals.
- Engineering calculations.
- Architectural drawings.
- Energy-code documentation.
- Safety-glazing or egress compliance.
- Other government or third-party approvals.
A product’s availability for purchase does not mean that it is suitable or code-compliant for every location or application.
19. Changes and Change Orders
Changes to a confirmed order or installation scope must be approved in writing.
A requested change may affect:
- Product price.
- Labor cost.
- Material requirements.
- Production schedule.
- Delivery date.
- Installation date.
- Warranty coverage.
- Eligibility for cancellation or return.
We are not obligated to accept changes after production or supplier ordering has begun.
20. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds
Returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are governed by our posted Return and Refund Policy and any product-specific or order-specific terms disclosed before purchase.
Customers may request cancellation and a refund within 24 hours of placing an order. Approved refunds are subject to a 10% cancellation and administrative fee, which will be deducted from the amount paid.
This 24-hour cancellation policy applies only to orders that have not been shipped or entered production. If an order has already been shipped, it will be handled under our Standard Return Policy. Custom or special-order products cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has begun.
All other eligible returns and refunds remain subject to the return conditions, 25% restocking fee, non-refundable shipping and payment-processing charges, and refund timeline stated in this policy.
21. Product Warranties
Products may be covered by a written manufacturer’s warranty, an A1 Doors & Windows warranty, or both. Warranty coverage varies by product, manufacturer, component, and service.
Any applicable written warranty will control regarding:
- Warranty duration.
- Covered components.
- Exclusions.
- Registration requirements.
- Claim procedures.
- Repair, replacement, or other remedies.
- Transferability.
You are responsible for reviewing the warranty documents provided with the product or order.
Unless expressly stated in a written warranty, coverage may exclude:

- Damage caused by third parties, pests, impacts, or attempted repairs.
- Screens, finishes, glass breakage, or consumable components unless expressly covered.
Manufacturer warranties are provided by the relevant manufacturer and are subject to that manufacturer’s terms. We may reasonably assist with a manufacturer claim but do not control the manufacturer’s final decision.

You are responsible for following all manufacturer maintenance, cleaning, drainage, adjustment, lubrication, and care instructions.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including any rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
34. Indemnification
