Limited Warranty Policy
Last Updated: June 25, 2026
This Limited Warranty is provided by A1 Doors & Windows for eligible products purchased through https://doorandwindow.store/.
This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser or original end user of qualifying products installed in residential or commercial applications, subject to the terms, exclusions, conditions, and limitations stated below.
A1 Doors & Windows warrants that covered products will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship that render the product non-serviceable or unfit for its intended use during the following warranty periods:
Residential Applications: Ten (10) years from the Invoice Date.
Commercial Applications: Ten (10) years from the Invoice Date.
For purposes of this Limited Warranty, the “Invoice Date” means the original date shown on the invoice issued by A1 Doors & Windows to the purchasing party.
This Limited Warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser or original end user. It is non-transferable and may not be assigned to another individual, business, property owner, or occupant.
No distributor, dealer, installer, contractor, employee, agent, or representative is authorized to alter, modify, expand, or extend this Limited Warranty unless the change is made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of A1 Doors & Windows.
1. Warranty Coverage and Available Remedies
When A1 Doors & Windows determines that a covered product has a valid defect in materials or workmanship, A1 Doors & Windows may, at its discretion:
- Repair the defective product or component; or
- Replace the defective product or component with the same product or a reasonably comparable product.
If the original product or component is no longer available, A1 Doors & Windows may provide a similar replacement based on current product availability.
Any repaired or replacement product will remain covered only for the unexpired portion of the original warranty period. Repair or replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period.
Parts-Only Coverage
Unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing, this Limited Warranty covers eligible replacement products or components only.
A1 Doors & Windows is not responsible for costs associated with:
- Product inspection or diagnosis by a third party;
- Labor;
- Installation or reinstallation;
- Removal or disposal;
- Painting, staining, finishing, or refinishing;
- Shipping, freight, transportation, or delivery;
- Scaffolding, lifting equipment, or special access equipment;
- Opening, wall, flooring, stucco, drywall, trim, or structural repairs;
- Contractor downtime;
- Project delays; or
- Loss of use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, A1 Doors & Windows will not be responsible for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from the repair, replacement, failure, delay, or use of a covered product.
Access for On-Site Service
When A1 Doors & Windows authorizes on-site warranty service, the claimant must provide safe, timely, and unobstructed access to the product and service area.
The claimant is responsible for removing furniture, personal property, coverings, decorations, security systems, and other obstructions that may interfere with inspection or service.
2. Installation and Product Inspection Requirements
Installation Responsibility
Proper installation is the responsibility of the purchaser, property owner, distributor, contractor, installer, or end user unless installation services are expressly provided by A1 Doors & Windows under a separate written agreement.
A1 Doors & Windows is not responsible for work performed by independent installers, contractors, dealers, distributors, or other third parties.
Warranty coverage may be denied when a product has been:
- Improperly installed;
- Installed contrary to manufacturer instructions;
- Installed without required flashing, waterproofing, drainage, or sill-pan systems;
- Altered, cut, drilled, painted, stained, or modified without authorization;
- Misused, abused, or damaged;
- Improperly stored or transported;
- Poorly maintained; or
- Used for an application for which it was not designed.
Five-Day Delivery Inspection
All products must be carefully inspected immediately upon delivery or pickup.
Missing components, incorrect products, visible defects, shipping damage, structural damage, glass damage, shortages, and other discrepancies must be reported to A1 Doors & Windows within five (5) calendar days of delivery.
Claims should include the order or invoice number, a description of the issue, photographs of the product, photographs of the packaging, and any relevant delivery documents.
Failure to report a visible issue within the five-day inspection period may be treated as acceptance of the product in its delivered condition.
Incorrect products or products with visible damage must not be installed. Installing a visibly damaged or incorrect product may affect or eliminate eligibility for a return, replacement, or warranty remedy.
This inspection requirement does not eliminate any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
3. Hardware Replacement Procedure
After the initial five-day inspection period, A1 Doors & Windows may, at its discretion, provide a one-time replacement of eligible defective hardware components without charging for the replacement component itself.
The claimant remains responsible for all shipping, freight, and transportation charges unless otherwise approved in writing.
A valid payment card may be required before replacement hardware is shipped.
The defective hardware must be returned to the designated A1 Doors & Windows facility, in appropriate packaging, within fourteen (14) calendar days after the claimant receives the replacement component.
If the defective hardware is not returned within the required fourteen-day period, A1 Doors & Windows may charge the payment card for the full retail value of the replacement component and any applicable shipping costs.
Providing replacement hardware does not constitute an admission that the original hardware was defective or covered by this Limited Warranty.
4. General Exclusions and Limitations

Keep weep holes, drainage channels, and sill areas clear and unobstructed.
Standing water or blocked drainage may cause product damage and water intrusion.
Hardware Lubrication
Apply an appropriate silicone-based lubricant to eligible hinges, rollers, pivot points, tracks, and locking mechanisms at least once per year, or more frequently in coastal, dusty, high-use, or severe-weather environments.
Do not use grease, oil-based products, or lubricants that attract dirt unless specifically recommended by the product manufacturer.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of the applicable written warranty period.
Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, certain limitations or exclusions in this Limited Warranty may not apply to every claimant.
